About Us

Who We Are

Embracing Your Voice, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to trauma‑informed mental health education, resources, and community support. Founded on the belief that every survivor deserves to be heard, understood, and empowered, we work to create safe spaces where healing, resilience, and connection can flourish.

We support survivors, their loved ones, professionals, community leaders, and first responders by providing accessible information, trauma‑responsive resources, and community‑centered outreach. Our work focuses on reducing stigma, increasing awareness of trauma responses, and strengthening the networks that help individuals and families throughout Appalachian communities and beyond.

Mission

Embracing Your Voice, Inc. exists to empower survivors of trauma and equip the communities around them with the knowledge, tools, and compassion needed to respond effectively. We provide trauma‑informed education, resources, and supportive outreach that help individuals reclaim their voices, build resilience, and access healing‑centered care.

Through community engagement, advocacy, and collaborative partnerships, we strive to create a culture where trauma is understood, survivors are supported, and healing is accessible to all.

Vision

We envision communities where every survivor feels safe, supported, and empowered to speak their truth. Our goal is to help build a world where trauma‑informed understanding is standard practice, stigma is replaced with compassion, and healing is nurtured through connection and community.
